Happy Monday!
Sparkle and I woke up pretty early Sunday morning. Daddy and SJ were still sleeping so we had time to play dress up. I usually pick out a few things for her to wear and she has the final say. It works for us. It’s my little way of teaching her early how to dress herself. If you have a little girl like me, you know what it feels like when they act like they don’t need you. When the thought of being independent strikes at the age of 2. At two years old, my baby who doesn’t want to be called a baby is dressing herself and doesn’t want any help and after she finishes dressing herself she goes and run to the mirror to check out her outfit. Call me silly or crazy, whichever you prefer but it’s the cutest thing in the world. Teaching her how to be a woman is one of my greatest joys.
Well now that I got that out the way. Let’s me just say that this entire outfit is vintage. Yes, all of it. Probably paid all of $20.00 for the clothing and the sneakers were passed down from SJ. Some may frown at the thought of thrifting for children but I enjoy it so much. Sparkle goes with me, she usually ends up in the toys section but that’s okay, we find cute little vintage things there too.
Tell me, do you thrift for your little one(s)?
